Science snaps
CoastSnap was originally conceived in New South Wales, Australia to monitor beaches using crowd sourcing. Camera mounts placed on the shoreline allow members of the public to take photos and track changes. It’s now been initiated in nine different countries, including France, USA, Spain and England.

Everyday Heroes
Postman’s Park is a public garden in central London, a short distance north of St Paul’s Cathedral. It’s home to the ‘Memorial To Heroic Self-Sacrifice’ containing 54 plaques, each dedicated to an ordinary person who gave their life in an attempt to save someone else.
