Cutting plastic waste
With a mission to reduce plastic waste and get quality knives to the masses, Hugo started Allday Goods during lockdown. Initially melting used plastic in an old toastie machine in his parents’ shed, the knives are now released in batches and each one is unique. The butter knife packaging is excellent too!
Daily Bread
La Poste has launched a scratch-and-sniff stamp that smells like baguettes. Microcapsules containing the scent are manufactured into the inks so that they break when the stamp is scratched. Délicieux!
Model advertising
Furniture and lifestyle retailers Habitat are bringing back an archive of their classic designs to celebrate their 60th anniversary. To advertise them, giant 3D replicas are popping up on billboards across the UK.
